I'm going to post some doodles from class notebooks later on my tumblr and blog spot www.twinklefish.tumblr.com Feel free to follow! THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT EVERYONE OTL <3
Coloured pencil and sharpie on posterboard. Personally I think the coloured pencil portion looks a lot better irl. :[ Oh well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I drew this at the beginning of the school year but never finished. Now that I've temporarily moved back for the summer I finally decided to finish this abomination. [admittedly I was no fond of it when I started on it and am still no too happy with this]
I feel like maturation is like forcing a part of yourself to fall asleep. The unbudging, self righteous and 'childish' traits have to be dulled down and principles must be compromised for the sake of others. The adoption of a fluid identity prevents internal mental crises as new roles keep altering the status we hold in society and our lives.
Old dreams and ambitions are overturned in favor of more 'practical' choices for the future. [At least in the environment I am in]
Everyone is different, so of course these thoughts do not necessarily apply to you, Haha
Still, thinking about this is a bit of a downer. I mean there are those that embrace the change, unfortunately I am not one of them.
I try to read the comments when I can. Usually if the contents aren't just a load of technical info then I figure the artist has something to say. I'm also glad that I read your comment too.
Feels as though I'm resisting maturity somewhat right now even though I always thought that I had already accepted it. I must thank you for making pieces of art that have more than pictures. It's nice to encounter pieces where there's something meaningful. Fanart is nice, but most of the time they end up lacking heart.

Damn you read that rambling wall of text? I kind of love you! Ahaha
